1. What time is check-in and checkout?
Answer: Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and checkout is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late checkout can be arranged based on availability.
2. Do I need to know how to play tennis or have previous experience?
Answer: No previous experience is required. Our coaches tailor sessions to suit all skill levels, ensuring everyone improves their game and get the most out of the retreat experience.
3. Is the retreat catered to all levels of tennis?
Answer: Yes, our retreats are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
4. When should I arrive and leave Bali?
Answer: Highly recommend to arrive the day before the retreat starts and depart the day after it ends to ensure you can fully participate in all activities plus enjoy your holiday.
5. Do I need a visa to enter Indonesia?
Answer: Many nationalities can enter Indonesia with a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for stays up to 30 days. Please check the latest visa requirements for your country before traveling. Cost is $50USD.
6. Do any of your retreats include flights?
Answer: No, flights are not included in the retreat packages. You will need to book your flights separately.
7. Which airport do I fly to?
Answer: You should fly to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali.
8. What time should I book my flight on the last day?
Answer: Book your departing flight for late afternoon or evening on the last day to allow time for checkout and airport transfer.
9. Can I book an extra night at the same hotel the night before or after the retreat?
Answer: Yes, extra nights can be arranged based on hotel availability. Please contact us in advance to assist with the booking.
10. How do I get from the airport to the retreat?
Answer: Airport transfers are included with some retreats. If not, Courtside Collective can arrange transportation for you at a cost of $50 USD round trip. Please provide your flight details in advance so we can coordinate your pickup.
11. I’m coming with a friend, does the twin share package cover both of us?
Answer: The twin share cost is per person. Each person needs to purchase a twin share package.
12. If I come alone will I get paired with someone in a room? Or can I opt for my own room?
Answer: If you come alone and purchase the twin share package, you will be paired with another solo guest. You can also opt for a private room retreat package.
13. What level of fitness do you need?
Answer: Our retreats cater to all fitness levels. Activities are designed to be inclusive and adaptable to individual needs.
14. What’s the average age bracket?
Answer: Participants typically range from their mid-20s to late 40’s but all adults are welcome.
15. How do you book?
Answer: You can book through our website by selecting your preferred dates and accommodation options. A deposit is required to secure your spot. Payment in full must be made 30 days prior to retreat start date. Alternatively, email the team and they will arrange your booking.
16. How many people attend each retreat?
Answer: Each retreat is limited to 8-10 participants to ensure personalised attention and a close-knit group experience.
17. Do many guests attend solo?
Answer: Yes, many of our guests attend solo and enjoy the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals.
18. Can we upgrade our rooms?
Answer: Room upgrades are possible based on availability. Please contact us in advance to discuss options and pricing.
19. Is there much spare time?
Answer: Yes, there is ample leisure time built into the schedule for relaxation, exploration and optional add on activities. E.g. private tennis lesson, cooking class.
20. Do I need travel insurance?
Answer: Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen events.
21. What kind of food do you offer?
Answer: We provide a variety of healthy and delicious meals, including options for all dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and more.
22. Do I have to participate in every session?
Answer: No, participation in all sessions is encouraged but not mandatory. You can choose to relax and enjoy your time as you see fit.
